First Alert Weather: Snow possible on Easter Sunday

A cold front will continue to track east the remainder of today and will switch the wind to the northwest. Wind speeds will increase as we go into Thursday. Tomorrow we could see a few flurries and possibly a light snow shower in the Northwoods, but we are only expecting around a dusting or so right now. Saturday will be the nicest day we have for a while as temps will remain close to average to start the weekend.
The next 60 degree day could be more than 10+ days away. Let's talk about Easter Sunday into Monday. A strong storm could track out of the Plains and hook towards Chicago. These storms are called 'Hook Storms' because they form in the Texas Panhandle and "hook" towards the Midwest. Strong like this could bring heavy rain, heavy snow and evening severe weather to parts of Wisconsin.
