The final day of NewsChannel 7's annual food drive and fundraiser, Share Your Holidays began with the traditional "make donation get a cookie from Jeff Thelen's Mom" event.

Several people stopped by the NewsChannel 7 studios in Wausau with food or money Friday (12/2013) morning during the morning news, Sunrise 7.

In return, they got a cookie homemade by Jeff Thelen's Mom, Nettie and a cup of coffee supplied by Wagner Shell.

Celebrating it's 10th year, Share Your Holidays collects food and money for the Neighbor's Place and Salvation Army food pantries.

This year, there is $35,000 of matching donations. So every dollar donated up to $35K is doubled.

In 2013, Share Your Holidays runs between 12/6/13 and 12/20/13.

Share Your Holidays is brought to you by NewsChannel 7, River Valley Bank, JX Truck Center and Wagner Shell.

Matching donations are provided by River Valley Bank, The Dudley Foundation and The Miller-Halvorsen Family.
