UPDATE: Dog missing since crash found safe

The Taylor County Humane Society reports a dog missing since a car crash March 31 about five miles from the Stanley Hospital was located Saturday.

The family’s dog, Ripley, was scared and ran away from the site, according to family. She had been spotted that evening near Thorp.

The humane society's post on Facebook Saturday did not elaborated on where, or how the dog was found.

Ripley, the missing boxer from the Stanley area, has been found. She is tired but is going to be fine.
