EDGAR, Wis. (WSAW)-- Teachers in Edgar are getting some extra training thanks to a new grant the high school got from the state Tuesday.

Wisconsin's Secretary of Administration Ellen Nowak was at Edgar High School Tuesday afternoon to present the district with a "Technology for Educational Achievement" grant, or TEACH.

The grant is designed to provide training to teachers on how to use the technology they already have available in their district.

"The grant is not about purchasing, it's about training and making sure our teachers can master this so they're able to then educate it to their children, or use the devices to the fullest," Edgar School District LMC director Leslie Spear.

This is the fourth year in a row the district has received this grant.
