The Wisconsin Court Reporters Association is holding a series of open houses across the state.
Hoping to convince more people to go into the profession.
Eight positions are open right now in Wisconsin for a job that's never the same twice.
Court reporter Catherine Sosnowski says, "there's a lot of variety. each person's case is different, unique. I can say no two days are alike."
It takes two to two and a half years to get a degree in the field.
