Check Out Hunger Raises $400 and a Lot of Food

Check Out Hunger, the grocery bagging event for Share Your Holidays raised $400 and lots of food for the annual food drive and fund raiser.
Saturday morning at Trig's in Wausau, members of the NewsChannel 7 staff bagged groceries in return for your donations of money and food.
If you couldn't make it to Check Out Hunger, there's still time to donate to SYH. You can take food to the Wausau Trig's and Wausau area Wagner Shell stations. You can also take food and money to the River Valley Bank branches in Wausau and to the NewsChannel 7 studios on Grand Ave. in Wausau.
Money donations are doubled, thanks to matching grants up to $25,000.
Share Your Holidays runs through December 21.
All of it goes to the Salvation Army and Neighbors Place.
