The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point is making it their goal to help keep the community healthy and eating right, and it's all with the help of the CPS Cafe.
The lunch stop opened up on the first floor of the College of Professional Studies building, and is equipped with a commercial kitchen, food lab and a different healthy option each day.
The cafe is run by UWSP Dietetics students who want to experience the
world of food service and management, with a menu that is filled with organic options that come right from local farms in the area.
The cafe is known to have homemade soup, organic meats, and much more including fresh baked goods each morning.
The CPS Cafe is open to the public, from 7:45 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. On Monday through Thursday. And until 9 a.m. for coffee on Friday.
