No foul play suspected in Wisconsin Rapids man's death

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAW)-- A detective from the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department said a 59-year-old man found dead in his apartment following a fire Monday, died of smoke inhalation.

The death of Bobbi J. Long is not suspicious, according to a news release. An autopsy was conducted Tuesday in Madison.

Police were called to an apartment fire at approximately 3:30 p.m. Dec. 26. When they arrived on scene, crews found Long's body.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
