TOWN OF LITTLE RIVER, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a bicyclist in northeast Wisconsin.

The Oconto County Sheriff's Office says a sport utility vehicle struck a man, identified as Thomas Bickel, 59, of Oconto, while riding his bicycle on County Hwy. A, one mile east of Little River Rd. in the Township of Little River early Friday.

The sheriff's office says Bickel was pronounced dead at the scene.

WBAY-TV reports investigators say the driver of the SUV is a 39-year-old man, from Lena.
