3 motorcycles, 1 car involved in Lincoln Co. crash

According to a press release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, four people were hurt, two of which were critical. in a crash on County Road L north of County Road N in the Town of Bradley.

It happened at about 1:17 Saturday morning. when authorities responded to the scene of two motorcycles colliding and crashing. As other bikes traveling in the area and tried to avoid the scene, a third motorcycle with two occupants hit a pickup truck that had stopped at the scene.

Three of the four hurt were transported to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital, before being transferred to the trauma center at Aspirus. The fourth was taken directly to Aspirus.

Helicopters could not fly at the time because of fog.

Tomahawk EMS, Tomahawk Fire Department, Merrill Fire Department Ambulance, Oneida County Medic Four, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol all responded to the scene. Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.

County Road L was closed for five house while the crash was investigated.
