3 men charged in Wausau child sex sting
Investigators said three men charged following a child-sex sting arranged to meet with a girl they believed was 15-years-old.
Lue Chang, 31, was arrested Friday and charged Monday with child enticement and using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime. He'll be released from jail on a $5,000 signature bond if he is able to post the first $500 in cash. He's scheduled to return to court Nov. 11 to learn if his case will head to trial.
Jackson Moeck, 24, and Alan Strasser, 29, are both charged with using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime. Moeck and Strasser's bonds was set at $5,000 signature bond with the first $1,000 in cash.
Strasser will return to court Sept. 28. Moeck will return to court Nov. 11.
The men were arrested Friday after sting targeting child sex predators. All three men were ordered to not have contact with women under the age of 18, unless supervised by someone over the age of 25.
"With every one having online access, it gives people greater access to children, and it gives people who prey on children greater access to sexual crimes against them, which is what we want to go after," said Jeffrey Stefonek with the Marathon County Sheriff's Department.
If convicted, they'll be ordered to register as sex offenders.
