NewsChannel 7′s Share Your Holidays campaign is having an effect on a global scale. One dedicated WSAW viewer in Australia completely changed his career path because of it and as the campaign continues a little differently this year, he encourages people to give because it provides joy to more than just the receiver.
This year's grand total for Share Your Holidays is $97,540 and tons of food. A new record. Half will go to the Salvation Army and half to the Neighbors' Place food pantries. The food will go to Peyton's Promise for dozens of other food pantries.
NewsChannel 7 and WZAW's annual food drive and fundraiser, Share Your Holidays starts it's 15th year Friday at the Wausau Holiday Parade. Please bring a non-perishable food along to the parade for a donation.
The latest contributions to Share Your Holidays bring the total to more than $15,000. Our goal by Friday (12/16/16) is to raise $37,000. All of it goes to the Salvation Army and Neighbor's Place food pantries.

The unseasonably warm weather made it a beautiful night to get outside and enjoy the Wausau Holiday Parade on Friday. Young and old flocked to the streets of Downtown Wausau to take in all the sights and sounds of the season to continue a tradition with their families. A big part of that tradition goes for a great cause.
