Early risers can catch Kristyn during Action 2 News This Morning covering overnight and breaking news from the field. You can also catch her occasionally on the desk filling in during Action 2 News This Morning Weekend Edition.

Kristyn came to WBAY from WJFW in Rhinelander. Previously, she worked at WLNS in Lansing, Michigan, after graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.

When she was 5 years old, Kristyn remembers asking her mom several times a day when it was 5 p.m. so she could watch the news. It didn't click until high school, though, that she wanted to be a TV reporter. Now she is passionate about telling others stories and bringing awareness to issues in our community.

In Kristyn's spare time (which isn't much) she enjoys baking, cooking, trying new restaurants and exploring Northeast Wisconsin, especially Door County.

Kristyn lives in Green Bay with her husband, Greg, and their daughter.
