Sean Caldwell

Sean Caldwell joined the NewsChannel 7 team in October 2012 as an anchor and producer for Sunrise 7.

In the time since, Sean has been fortunate to work in the region with Wausau Community Theatre, Take Steps for Crohn's and Colitis, St. Anne's Fest, and Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, among other worthwhile groups. In 2015, Sean was part of the team when Sunrise 7 was honored as Best Morning Show-Small Market by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.

Before coming to Wausau, Sean worked as an evening anchor, producer, reporter and graphic designer for KCWY News 13 in Casper, Wyoming. KCWY was awarded Station of the Year by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters during both years of Sean's tenure.

Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Sean graduated magna cum laude from Five Towns College in New York with a degree in film. While in college, Sean spent three and a half years as news director of WFTU 1570 AM and enjoyed an internship in the creative services division of WGAL-TV 8 in Lancaster.

Sean lives in Wausau with his wife Kate, they attend St. Anne's Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading and marathoning old television shows on Netflix.
