Reece Van Haaften joined WSAW in November 2017 as a sports director.
Reece is originally from Chaska, Minnesota, but he’s been all around the Midwest. Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Minnesota and South Dakota are all the places Reece has called home.
While in South Dakota, Reece was a sports reporter at KSFY. In 2016, his hard work paid off with an Upper Midwest Emmy.
If you catch Reece outside the newsroom, make sure to say 'hi' and talk baseball. He has seen 27 MLB ballparks.
