LAKELAND, Wis. (WSAW) - The Lakeland Union High School Board of Education has announced Dr. James “Jamie” Koepp as the new District Administrator for the Lakeland Union High School District.

Dr. Koepp will officially begin his new role on July 1 after being unanimously approved by the Board during its recent meeting.

With over 20 years of educational experience, Dr. Koepp joins Lakeland after a successful tenure in the Watertown Unified School District, where he has made significant contributions for the past two decades.

Before that, he spent seven years as an educator in Milwaukee Public Schools. He also brings nine years of administrative experience along with a background as a classroom teacher and school counselor.

Dr. Koepp expressed his enthusiasm about joining the Lakeland Union High School District, stating, “The size of the district is a perfect fit for providing a comprehensive education for students. I am excited to collaborate with the strong leadership team already in place and to work alongside the dedicated staff and faculty.”

In his new role, Dr. Koepp looks forward to fostering relationships with all stakeholders, including staff, families, community members, business leaders, and, most importantly, the students. He is also planning to participate in school events and community activities.
