Lakeland Union HS boys golf wins D2 State Championship

KOHLER, Wis. (WSAW) - The Lakeland Union High School Boys Golf team has won the WIAA Division 2 State Championship at Blackwolf Run Golf Course and Country Club in Kohler.
The High School announced the win on its Facebook page. The public is invited to come to the welcome home and celebration in the LUHS parking lot at 7:45 p.m. tonight.
Lakeland finished with a total score of 463 over two rounds to narrowly beat out second-place Edgerton which finished with 468.
Matt Haggart led the T-Birds with a total score of 113 in a tie for fourth overall. Edgerton’s Caleb Kern and Cameron Lee both tied for first with a total score of 111.
