CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (WSAW) - The Pointers will have to wait another day for their next matchup in the College World Series. UWSP’s game against Salisbury, slated for Sunday evening, has been postponed to Monday morning due to weather.
The Pointers already played one game Sunday, beating Marietta College to stay in the tournament. Now, their backs are against the wall again tomorrow. They’ll need to beat Salisbury twice to earn their way to the CWS final. Salisbury handed UWSP their first loss in the tournament Friday afternoon 8-2.
Monday’s game is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. from Cedar Rapids.
