WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Happy Father’s Day! Some much-needed rain will fall in the region through late this evening. The amount of rainfall will vary, but most spots should pick up anywhere from 0.25-1.00″ of rain. Some clouds after midnight and turning breezy with lows in the mid 40s to around 50.

Noticeably cooler on Monday, the first full day of summer. A mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 50s to around 60 north, low to mid 60s central and south.

Tuesday is partly cloudy and a bit warmer. High in the low 70s. Showers and scattered storms are possible Tuesday night. Wednesday a fair amount of sunshine and warmer with highs near 80.

More showers and storms are in the forecast for Thursday and Friday with highs Thursday in the upper 70s, and around 80 on Friday. Next weekend, the first full weekend of summer will feature some sunshine with highs in the upper 70s Saturday, low to mid 80s on Sunday.
