WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - It was a great start to the weekend weather-wise with less humid conditions and comfortably warm. Tranquil tonight with a starlit sky. Lows in the mid 50s to near 60. Sunday will feature sunshine, mixing with clouds during the afternoon. A risk of scattered storms later in the day in the Northwoods, with the storms drifting across the eastern parts of Central Wisconsin toward sunset. Still warm with afternoon readings topping out in the mid 80s.

Seasonable and dry weather for the first half of the new work week. Sunshine along with a few clouds Monday through Wednesday. Highs in the upper 70s on Monday, mid 70s Tuesday, rebounding to the upper 70s on Wednesday. Thursday is partly sunny with a chance of showers or storms later in the day. Warmer with highs in the mid 80s. Showers and storms are a better bet Thursday night. Friday has considerable cloudiness with scattered showers or storms possible. High in the mid 70s. Partly cloudy to start next weekend on Saturday. High in the low to mid 70s.
