MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAW) - SPASH’s Roisin Willis ran the 400 meters at the Wisconsin Valley Conference meet in 53.62 seconds Tuesday, topping Wausau West’s Brooke Jaworski’s record at the meet.

Willis’s time also is the best in the state this year, and top ten among high schoolers in the nation. Willis has already qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 400-meter hurdles, qualifying at a meet in New York. She set the fastest 16-year old time for an American in that event last month.
