UPDATE: Marshfield police report barricaded scene has been cleared

MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAW) - On their Facebook page, Marshfield police say the residence has been cleared and officers have left the scene.

There is no danger to the community. They’re also thanking the community for cooperation.

Marshfield Police are responding to someone barricaded in their home on the 400 block of West 7th Street in Marshfield.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook, people are being asked to avoid the area until further notice. They ask that if you live near the area, stay in your home and keep your doors locked.
