TOMAHAWK, Wis. (WSAW) - Lincoln county sheriff’s deputies are investigating the theft of six golf carts.

The carts vanished from the Inshalla Country Club outside of Tomahawk between last Thursday night and last Friday morning.

The co-owner says they were sitting outside of the pro shop without keys in them when they were stolen.

He says they carts are valued at about $5,000 each.

Unfortunately, cloudy weather that night prevented them from seeing anything worthwhile on surveillance video.

After a year that’s already been impacted by the pandemic, the theft is another tough blow.

“Any of the small businesses in the area which we pretty much all are for the most part. It has been a rough year and just throw this on top of it and it doesn’t make life any easier for anybody,” says Inshalla co-owner and general manager Jason Kahle.

Jason asks that if you live near the golf course and have surveillance cameras please check the video from last Thursday night.

If you have any information about the theft please call the police.
