A well-kept secret in Langlade County will open Friday, Dec. 28 at noon. Kettlebowl Downhill Ski Area, located northeast of Antigo, is open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
Weather-permitting it may be open Monday, Dec. 31 as well.
The hill is solely run by volunteers which keeps the cost having outdoor fun affordable. Lift tickets are just a few dollars.
Kettle Bowl is located on the Ice Age Trail and the county’s cross country ski trails can be accessed right from the chalet
Langlade County has launched its very own tourism app. Just search “Langlade County Tourism” in the Apple app store.
Directions
From Antigo Travel North on Hwy 45 to Hwy I. East on Hwy I to Hwy 52 approx. eight miles. From the White Lake/Langlade area: Travel north on Hwy 55 approx 12 miles to Hwy 52. Head west on Hwy 52 approx 4 miles. Kettlebowl will be on your left.
