RACINE, Wis. (AP) -- A tornado was reported in the town of Raymond as storms in Racine County knocked down trees and damaged at least one roof.
A National Weather Service survey team determined a weak tornado occurred near a town of Raymond intersection about 3:50 p.m., as witnesses reported. It was on the ground about a minute.
No injuries were reported.
Hail up to half an inch in diameter was reported during the scattered storms in southeastern Wisconsin.
A strong upper-level air disturbance in advance of a cold, unstable air triggered the storm activity.
