Nekoosa Campground Flattened by Reported Tornado
A reported tornado flattened the Deer Trail Park Campground on County Road Z in Nekoosa in Wood County Sunday evening.
Our crew on the scene reports that power lines and trees are down, and the 166 site campground is severely damaged.
According to the Wood County Sheriff's Department, there were minor injuries reported at the campground but no casualties. Those injured were transported to the hospital.
Other damage was reported in the Plover, Plainfield and Saratoga areas.
