A well-kept secret in Langlade County is now open. Kettlebowl Downhill Ski Area, located northeast of Antigo, is open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
The hill is solely run by volunteers which keeps the cost having outdoor fun affordable. Christine Berry Executive Director of Langlade County Economic Development Corporation tells NewsChannel 7, “A day of skiing and lunch will not even dent the bank.” The cost is just $6 for Adults, $3 for students, $2 for 6-12 year olds and under 5 years is free.
Kettle Bowl is located on the Ice Age Trail and the county’s cross country ski trails can be accessed right from the chalet
Langlade County has launched its very own tourism app. Just search “Langlade County Tourism” in the Apple app store.
