Heavy wind that blew through central Wisconsin Thursday evening have left 4,800 Wisconsin Public Service customers without service.
According to WPS, 1,500 customers in Eagle River, 2,700 customers in Minocqua and 685 customer in Rhinelander were left in the dark.
Smaller outages occurred in Wausau and Tomahawk.
