If you plan on having a campfire this week, you may want to think again. The DNR says due to the extreme heat they've issued a fire advisory.
That means burning is isn't allowed even if you have a permit.
The DNR issues burning advisories when the conditions are right for fires to easily start and easily spread. The condition can also make it difficult to extinguish a fire.
