A new Wisconsin law requires all homes and duplexes be equipped with carbon monoxide detectors. The law doesn’t stop there though. All Wisconsin residents are required to have a detector on each level of their home, including basements. The law comes at the most prevalent time of year for carbon monoxide related cases.
Heating devices such as stoves, heaters, and furnaces are the main contributors to carbon monoxide related cases.
