Madison Breaks 100 Inches of Snow for Winter Save Email Print

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Madison has reached another milestone in snowfall for the season.

The National Weather Service says the city received seven-tenths of an inch Sunday afternoon and evening, bringing its total for the winter of 2007-2008 to 100.4 inches.

Madison's record snowfall prior to this winter was 76.1 inches in 1978-1979.
