43th ANNUAL NATIVITY PAGEANT

Dec 6, 2014 7pm

Queen of The Holy Rosary Shrine Necedah WI 54646
The Nativity Pageant at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Mediatrix of Peace Shrine in Necedah has been performed each year since 1971.
This accurate and historic presentation of the Nativity Story is staged outdoors with a large cast in colorful costumes, along with many animals.
The re-enacted Story begins in Nazareth where it was announced that all were to travel to Bethlehem for a census. It then portrays the cold four day/three-night journey to Bethlehem and the difficulties Mary and Joseph encounter in that crowded city. Finally, it re-lives the Birth of Jesus in a cave outside of the city.

Enchanted Forest in Rosholt

Nov 28, 2014 - Dec 25, 2014 Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays Nov. 28 through Dec. 21, 5pm - 8pm & Christmas Day 2pm - 6pm

Community Building at Rosholt Fair Park
Rosholt High School Family Career and Community Leaders of America will once again host the Enchanted Forest, a long standing holiday tradition, in the Community Building at Rosholt Fair Park. The Forest will open on Friday, November 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will continue to be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. until Sunday, December 21. Santa will be visiting every Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. And this year, The Enchanted Forest will have a special opening on Christmas from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This is the 20th year for the Enchanted Forest which was originally held in the Center Point Mall in Stevens Point. With the demise of the mall, the Forest found a new home in the vintage barn at the top of the hill in Rosholt’s Fair Park. Last year there were more than 100 decorated trees provided by Rosholt High School FCCLA members as well as various community groups and individuals. In addition to the indoor display, the roadways through the Fair Park are also adorned with lights and other holiday displays.

There is no admission charge for the Enchanted Forest, but donations are encouraged. The funds generated are divided between the Rosholt Fair Association, FCCLA, and used for operating expenses.

For more information call the Rosholt School District FCCLA at 715-677-4541
