23rd Annual Strawberry Fest Model Railroad Show

Now in two gyms! Featuring ten operating model railroad layouts (some as large as 24’ x 52’), including a model train layout in a hearse, and one built of Legos. Kids will also enjoy a hands-on Thomas the Tank Engine and Chuggington Station layout, a train ride with Engineer Ted, and hands-on switching with Conductor Carlson. There are also swap/sales tables, hobby shop dealers and vendors. Visit the model contest on Saturday. Attend the Demonstration Derby, both Saturday, 6/16 and Sunday 6/17 featuring continuous how-to demonstration sessions by modelers who will answer questions and show you how it is done. They will be working on trains, buildings, scenery, cars, boats, airplanes and more. Also visit the restored Waupaca Electric Railroad Baggage Car and see the progress on the restoration of the Waupaca Soo Line passenger station. Great Foods including strawberry short cake.
