"Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" at Rosholt High School

May 2, 2014 - May 4, 2014 Friday & Saturday at 7pm, Sunday at 2pm

The Rosholt High School Drama Department presents the musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". Based on the 1954 film, the musical tells the story of a large family of rambunctious brothers living on a ranch in 1850's Oregon and the humorous and romantic complications that ensue as they search for wives. Tickets are $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for seniors and K-12 students and will be available at the door beginning one hour prior to performances.

Agriculture meets theater in this heartwarming, funny and poignant story of two dairy-farming families negotiating life's ups and downs. The lead character, a 92-year-old dairyman is played by Mike Peplinski, a real-life retired dairyman. He seasons the story with memories, wit and wisdom that spans nearly a century and gives us a glimpse into the past.
