The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10262, 2970 Hickory Drive, PloverThe Breast Cancer Awareness Committee of Plover will host a Spaghetti Fund Raiser on June 20th: The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10262, 2970 Hickory Drive, Plover will be the location for this event. The doors open at 3:00 pm. and the dinner will be served starting at 4:30 pm. The spaghetti and meatball dinner will be $5 and include garlic bread and dessert.
Basket raffles and paddle raffles will be offered throughout the evening. Basket raffle tickets will be on sale at the VFW Post starting June 4th for early sales.
All proceeds will be donated to the St. Michael’s Oncology Department to be used towards various patient needs

He is in need of ongoing care and has been hospitalized multiple times over the last year. We are holding this 3 Day benefit in a continued effort to add to his trust fund.

Wausau Walk to End Alzheimer's

UW-WI Marathon County Fieldhouse (Corner of S. 7th Avenue & Garfield Avenue)The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the signature event to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's disease. Start a team, join a team or sponsor a team. The 1.5 or 2 mile Walk includes raffles, lunch and prizes. If you can't make it on September 7th, register today to be a virtual walker! Proceeds benefit local programs of the Alzheimer's Association.
**There is no registration fee. T-shirts are awarded to adults raising $100 or more and Champions Club medals are awarded to those raising $500 or more. Youth 18 and under receive a t-shirt after raising $35.00.

The Greater Wisconsin Chapter serves 52 Wisconsin counties as well as Houston County in MN. We have eight Outreach Offices to help provide support services to everyone dealing with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. We are a non-profit organization that depends on contributions, grant resources and special event fundraising to support our work. Services to families are made possible by funds raised through the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
