S.T.E.A.M. Exploration Stations

Sep 10, 2014 - Aug 15, 2015 2nd Wednesday and Saturday of Each Month at 10:30am

Marathon County Public Library, 300 N. 1st Street, Wausau
S.T.E.A.M. Exploration Stations will occur the 2nd Wednesday of every month and will be repeated the following Saturday. S.T.E.A.M. begins in September 2014 and runs until August 2015, with a break for the month of June 2015. Hands-on activities focused on the core areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics will be provided for kids so that they can learn, discover, create and have fun. Starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Marathon County Public Library Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St, Wausau. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 715-261-7230.
*Note: Story times scheduled for the second Wednesday and the following Saturday at MCPL Wausau will include S.T.E.A.M.-related stories and activities.

Movie: “God's Not Dead”

The movie “God's Not Dead” will show at the Cosmo Theater in Merrill from Friday, September 12th through the 18th at 7PM with matinee's Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 3:30pm. This thought-provoking movie is FREE and open to the public. So plan to come and enjoy an evening of free entertainment with your family and friends.

Back to School Bracelets

Teens are invited to create the perfect back to school accessory: the bracelet! This teen-only event starts at 2:30 p.m. on August 28, at the Marathon County Public Library Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St, Wausau.
Teens are encouraged to create different bracelets based on the directions provided. There will be plenty of opportunities to create a unique bracelet with the wide variety of bracelet making supplies.
This event is free and open to teens only. All supplies are provided.
