Beef - A - Rama

Torpy Park, on the edge of downtown Minocqua, will be bustling with artisans and crafters, children’s games, and live music. At 2:15 p.m. the famous Parade of Beef begins with roasters proudly wheeling and carrying their roasts down the street to Torpy Park. Ministry's Together Learning To Cope Remembrance Walk

Our 2nd Annual Remembrance Walk will take place Saturday, October 4, 2014! This walk will be done to remember all babies that have died during pregnancy, at birth or shortly after birth and also to help raise awareness of pregnancy and infant loss. Everyone is welcome to attend (Parents, grandparents, siblings, children, friends, etc.). We will meet at Wildwood Park in Marshfield, Wisconsin near the large playground. Plan to arrive starting at 9:00 am that morning and the walk will begin at 10 am. Rain or shine! The walk this year will be approximately two miles in length.
A registration/waiver form must be completed and turned in by all who will be walking on or before the day of the event. T-shirts for this event are available for purchase and must be ordered and paid for ahead of time. T-shirts will be handed out to those who have pre-ordered them on the day of the walk. Please e-mail me for the registration form. It is not required to have a t-shirt to walk though. Hope to see you there!!

This is a rare breed and has most recently held some prominent movie roles such as the Hunger Games-Catching Fire, Ladyhawk, The Chronicals of Narnia, Eragon, etc. Food and Friesian items for sale. Run to Remember

The Nicolet College Foundation will hold the Second Annual Run to Remember and Family Fun Day Saturday, Sept 20th, to raise money for scholarships in honor of Kory Dahlvig, a Nicolet graduate and former Vilas County sheriff’s deputy who lost his life in an on-duty traffic accident.
The event on the Nicolet College Campus will feature a 5K run/walk with participants lining up at 9:45 a.m. and the race beginning at 10 a.m. The line-up for the half-mile children’s event will take place at 10:45 a.m. and start at 11 a.m. We will also have free family activities during and after the 5K.
Registration fee for the 5K is $25 before September 6th and $30 after that date. The children’s run/walk is free.
