25th StrawberryFest Model Railroad Show & Model Contest

Two days of model railroading fun in two huge gyms. See small to gigantic operating train layouts (including a Lego layout), race Lionel trains, switch a train with Conductor Carlson, play with Thomas the Tank Engine and his Chuggington Station friends (hands-on kid’s layout), purchase supplies and equipment from hobby shop dealers and vendors. Learn and share modeling skills with masterful modelers Mark Lasse and Fred Furkis as the demonstrate how its done.

Model Contest – Saturday only. Adult and junior categories. All modelers invited to participate. Categories: cars, trucks, trains, ships, aircraft, scenery, Legos, photos and miscellaneous. Rules and entry forms available at www.wamrltd.com .

After a great meal and strawberry short cake at Virgie’s Railroad Diner, visit the Waupaca Soo Line railroad depot to see its continued restoration and new additions (Depot Saturday only).
