Junior Amateur Talent Show

Calling all kids ages 2-18! You could compete at the State Fair by winning one of two age brackets at the Taylor County Fair's Talent Show. One winner from the age 2-12 and one from the age 13-18 division will have an opportunity to compete at the State Fair, but you have to qualify at a local fair! Vacation Bible School

Rebel Raisers

NTC IT Summer Camp - Programming with LEGO Mindstorms

Northcentral Technical College - Wausau Campus
This four day summer camp will take place in the mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is geared towards students entering 6th-8th grades. Learners will build LEGO robots which will be able to navigate obstacle courses and respond to light, touch, color and sound sensors. This team-based course also reinforces the practical skills of time management, teamwork, problem solving and communications. Cost for this session is $35, includes a t-shirt. Autism Night

According to a report published in the Washington Post, it is estimated that 1 in every 150 children in the U.S. has autism or a closely related condition.

The Central Wisconsin Children's Museum wants to be beneficial for every child, so we open the museum the 1st Monday of each month from 5-7pm exclusively for families that have children with Autism. The museum is available for parents and children to play together in a "less overwhelming" atmosphere. This program is free no preregistration required.
