Why Birds Matter-IMBD Event

Indoor and outdoor activities for all ages—bird and wildflower walks, games, crafts, geocaching, plus presentations about butterfly and bird identification, bird vocalizations, feeding and housing. Food and door prizes will be distributed throughout the day. New event will be a free bird bus to the Miller Dam area.

Undergraduate Research Symposium

On May 2, 2014 the College of Letters and Science will host its annual “Undergraduate Research Symposium” to showcase student research. The symposium features more than 100 poster and oral presentations from students in Biology, Chemistry, Computing and New Media Technologies, English, History, Mathematical Sciences, Philosophy, Physics and Astronomy, Political Science and Psychology. The symposium will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the first and second floors of the Science Building. It is free and open to the public with metered parking available in Lot X, next to the Science Building.

Youth Outdoors Day
