Free Lecture: A Story of Abundance and Great Loss

As part of Project Passenger Pigeon, a series of events marking the centenary of the extinction of passenger pigeons, the UW-Stevens Point Museum of Natural History will be hosting a free lecture. Biologist Jim Krakowski will talk about the history passenger pigeons and the lessons to be learned from their extinction. Following the lecture will be a "meet and greet" with local wildlife artist, Mary Bratz, who painted the background of the museum's passenger pigeon exhibit.
