Overnight Fire Destroys Marathon County Garage
Crews from three departments were called to a garage fire east of Wausau early Wednesday morning. Sheriff's deputies say the blaze was reported at 4:30 a.m. by a passerby. The garage was destroyed, no one was hurt.

An overnight fire destroyed a barn in Marathon County.
Sheriff's deputies say the blaze was reported at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday by a passerby.
It was engulfed in flames when crews got to the scene. An eyewitness tells NewsChannel 7 the flames could be seen 1/4 mile away.
The structure and a few items inside the garage on Hwy. Z are a loss.
The resident's cars were parked outside and they managed to save guinea hens kept in pens next to the garage.
No one was injured.
There's no word on a cause.
