While we enjoy fireworks and cook-outs this Fourth of July, veterans remind us of the importance of remembering those who gave so much to secure our freedom.
The Chippewa Valley Marine Club in Eau Claire held its 1st annual Motorcycle Run Monday, which is raising money for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
"We're doing it on the fourth of july because i figured i'd pick a day of happiness and celebration," says Wendy Smith, from the C.V. Marine Club.
More than 30 local veterans and motorcycle enthusiasts are getting on their hogs for a sixty mile journey through the Chippewa Valley.
