Local Band To Perform On The Big Stage At Hodag
One of the biggest country music festivals is getting ready to welcome thousands of screaming fans to the Northwoods. Hodag will play host to big names like Randy Travis, Neal McCoy, Kellie Pickler, and Montgomery Gentry - but among those big stars will be one local band.
Brad Emanuel and the Groove Men won a regional competition in Rhinlander, and now they get to compete in the Battle of the Bands competition on Friday at Hodag. If they win, they will have the opportunity to open for Saturday's acts including - Little Big Town, Josh Thompson, & Ronnie Milsap.
Wednesday on Sunrise 7, Brad helped to get us in the Hodag mood by playing one of his original songs "Hangin' at the Hodag." It's been featured on the Hodag Country Station 97.3. Bill Mitchell who is the morning D.J. there tells Brad that the song is in the top 15 most requested at the station.
If you can't get enough of the original country tune - "Hangin' at the Hodag" - you can purchase it at iTunes.
