Splat, Pop, and Slash!
No one was able to walk away dry after the community wide water balloon fight in Weston on Friday.
It was a fight to the finsh as kids from all over came out to start their summer off on a wet and wild note. It's the 4th Annual Hydration Sensation held at Kennedy Park.
Area churches say they do this every year to give kids a safe place to enjoy some summer fun in the sun. And as you can imagine - kids couldn't wait to get their hands on all those balloons. In all, there were more than 10,000 water balloons.
The chuches who organized the event are Living Well Faith Community, Bethany Baptist, and Christian Assembly. These churches encourage other churches to join their efforts in community out reach.
