(Press Release) There is still time to make some important decisions on camp for your children this summer. Visit YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow in Nelsonville on Saturday, May 14 starting at 3:00pm for camp activities, tours, Q&A, and a delicious spaghetti dinner at 6:00pm followed by a campfire program. The open house and dinner are free of charge and a great opportunity to visit before summer camp programs start. Dinner pre-registration is required by Friday, May 13, space is limited.
There is also a pancake breakfast and open house on Saturday, June 4. Breakfast starts at 9:00am and camp activities are from 10:00am - 12:30pm. Breakfast and the open house are free. Pre-register for breakfast by June 3, space is limited.
YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow offers a wide variety of Day and Residential/Overnight Camps, Adventure Trips and a Leader/Counselor In Training Program. Camp is located 14 miles East of Stevens Point on crystal clear Lake Elaine and offers a safe environment in which positive values, personal growth, lifelong friendships, environmental awareness, outdoor skill development and outrageous fun are key elements.
