Two suspects in an overnight attempted will make their initial appearance Friday in Marathon County Court.
According to a news release, an employee was was working late at El Ranchito Restaurant in Schofield when he heard someone trying to enter the business through a back door. The employee called the manager who called police.
Officers checked the inside of the restaurant and found a ladder propped against the building. The two suspects were located on the roof and taken into custody.
The two men had counterfeit permanent resident cards in their possession. Two admitted to being in the county illegally and attempting to break into the restaurant.
