NewsChannel 7 Nominated for Two Emmy Awards

Newschannel 7 has been nominated for two Emmy Awards in the Chicago Region of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

"Leilani Neumann Found Guilty," the webcast done following the Weston woman's trial is nominated in the Outstanding Achievement within a Regularly Scheduled News Program Advanced Media Feature -Hard News category.

"Price County, the Search for Answers," the investigation into how the former sheriff handled the search for a missing woman got a nomination in the Outstanding Achievement within a Regularly Scheduled News Program - Specialty Report/Series: Politics/Government category.

The awards will be handed out November 7.
