Got a craving for some fresh locally-grown tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs and more? Or maybe a bouquet of flowers or various crafts? Sounds like you may need to visit one of the many farmers' markets in Northcentral Wisconsin. We've got you covered.
WSAW.com has just launched a new interactive map locating more than two dozen farmers' markets in the area. Click here to access the tool. You can also find a link in the Community drop down menu towards the top of the screen.
Each location is marked by a colored pushpin. Farmers' markets in Marathon County, for example, are blue. Markets in Clark County are brown. Either click the pushpin for days, times and other info for that location, or choose a place from the list on the right side of the page. You can also use the zoom and pan functions to further interact with the map.
If you come across a farmers' market that's particularly good, let everyone know. Simply fill out the form at the bottom of the page. Once approved, responses will appear below the form. If there is a market not included on the map, but you think it should be, there is an e-mail link to submit your suggestion.
Enjoy... and have a great rest of summer!
