Lee Ann started working at WSAW in May of 2008...3 days after graduating. She attended Purdue University and earned a degree in Synoptic Meteorology. During her senior year at Purdue she also worked at WLFI in Lafayette Indiana as the weekend weather anchor. Being from the Mid-west, Lee Ann loves the challenge of forecasting for the area. She loves tracking severe storms and predicting snow events. She has witnessed one big blizzard (Feb 2007), but has yet to see a tornado. She hopes to go storm chasing some day soon. Even though weather is her main passion, she also enjoys many other things. She is a huge NASCAR fan and loves going to different races. Her favorite driver is Jimmie Johnson, and being from Indiana also loves going to Indianapolis Motor Speedway. She also enjoys roller skating and any type of outdoor sport.
